Incense ..... breathe in

We as humans have five senses and after touch, one of the most intimate senses is scent. Certain smells can trigger memories. The smell of apple pie, cinnamon, lavendar , rainforest, different types of aftershave and perfume such as Joop or Opium, even cut grass take one back to different times and places in our lives.

The word Incense is derived from the Latin verb incendere, ‘to burn’. It has been used to accompany prayer, to worship the Gods, uplift the emotional state, for meditation and can bring a sense of peace and change the atmosphere in a room or home.

Sandalwood, Nagchampa, patchouli, Lavendar, Aphrodesia, Black Opium, Cinnamon, Rose,Vanilla, Satya are favorites in my house.
