QUEENSLAND IS AKIN TO A NAZI STATE

Brilliant one day, perfect the next. The motto of Queensland. What a joke. We not only have a head of state who deems it necessary to sell off our assets to cover the huge debt incurred by mismanagement and the global financial status. This government is also in charge of several departments who are more bumbling that Abbott and Costello.

Crime pays in Queensland. Paedophiles haven. Spastic legislation allows so many events to allow not only crimes against children but punishes those who try and protect their children.

Innisfail police are a joke. They say they have to act according to current legislation. Change the legislation!!

I woke one night, asleep on my lounge and an unidentified male was holding me down by the legs, licking the inside of my knee. When I screamed the male ran off out the front door. Police arrived along with a detective an hour later. The evidence of a dropped tobacco bag by the offender was bagged and taken away. I phoned the detective to ask what was happening with the investigation and he told me that the tobacco was lost, could not be found and he didn't really believe my story as things like this didn't happen in our town. A few weeks later, a corner store was held up at gun point. Now I wonder if he really believed it happened. I am extremely disillusioned by the lack of support for what is right in this god forsaken town and state.

How is it that a man of 53 can approach girls underage, question them about the color of their pubic hair matching the color of hair on their heads, tell them on several occasions how much he would like to "suck their tits", "fuck them" and "lick them "...the very same man who hangs his penis out in front of these girls and urinates. A complaint was made to police and child protective services on more than one occasion over a period of 8 weeks. Nothing happened. I am not surprised. Confronting this sick individual and he freely admits he does it "cos I am sick". Yet this man walks free and has no retribution, the person confronting the paedo is then deemed the aggressor and warned. No warning or investigation given to the old man.

A male of 23 and one of 19 are supplying pot, cigarettes, alcohol and engaging in sexual activity with girls under age. These individuals are taking the child's money, and lets face it , they are young adults but still children. They threaten to bash one of the underage girls. Many complaints are made about these pair and when it comes to the point of asking for a keycard that belongs to one of the girls, they admit they have knowledge of such a keycard , the police come and once again the young males get away with it. Being told that you can be arrested for threatening behavior,( no weapons used, asking for property to be returned which don't belong to them) whilst these little bastards can get away with what they like. Many complaints have been made in both instances, and yet we see this kind of crap being tolerated.

Shall I continue? A person who has been issued with a blue card, a police check and clearance to enable them to work with and or around children. A child of 8 gets his arm pushed through a glass window and the forearm is gashed, ambulance called. Action??NONE, IT was an accident according to the adult male. The same adult grabs a child of 11 by the shirt and throws him up against a wall, grabs the child by the feet and drags him up the hallway on carpet. He turns around in a childish fashion and calls a different child , a fat fucker. Four children including the two mentioned are told they are nothing but dogs. Has already been mentioned to me that the adult must of been provoked. Come on, if any parent was to do this to a child you can bet your life on it that you would be before a court in no time . Action? to be seen.

You dare to stand up and protect your underage child here in Queensland and you will find yourself on the wrong end of the law. Yet it is also a sad ass state when it takes one phone call as was explained to me by a department manager, in the eyes of the law you are innocent until proven guilty but where child protective services are involved you are GUILTY. This manager also said they err on the side of caution. Pfft sure they do. If one thinks they have local politicians who can help, think again. Curtis Pitt can't even talk to you unless it means he gets his photo in the paper. Not that he has done much but got voted into office on his predecessor's coat tails..his father Warren Pitt. Several emails and phone calls later to the premiers office, Curtis Pitts office, Barnaby Joyce's office, and the office of Jack Dempsey resulted in the buck being passed. Not one of these elected officials would help with same old bullshit excuses, not their department or they were too busy.

The day Queensland has an election we can only hope we purge ourselves of the likes of Anna Bligh, the labor party government and all the crappy, self serving legislation that it has in place, along with the fat cats who sit back and take home a big fat pay with benefits and a cushy superannuation to look forward to.

For purposes of this post, the Queensland people are the matador and the government is the bull.... same effect, you will get it sharply up the ass by the man at the top.

No wonder criminals love Queensland. The laws are designed to enable them to partake in criminal activity and if you dare to stand up and question the Queensland authority, trust this, they will find someway of making you pay. Queensland is a beautiful state, however the governing body, some of the police force (not all), the media hungry politicians, all make Queensland nothing but a Nazi state. You would be better off sitting on the rough end of a pineapple than to try and live in Queensland, the former being more comfortable.

The people of Queensland need not whine or complain over the next 3 years, you got what you voted for.

THE LAW ACCORDING TO WHO IS IN CHARGE ON ANY GIVEN DAY

You really have to wonder if there are two different sets of laws in Queensland.

In this story , two parents are charged after their 2 month old baby swallows an ecstasy tablet. The young child was placed in an induced coma, then released back into the parents care the next day after they were released on bail.
Ok, fair enough they did not deliberately give the child the tablet. Now it is reported that it was a mix up with medications. The Department of Child Safety is investigating.

YET.... if you buy six cans of alcohol between a week to fortnight maximum, you are considered and alcoholic. If you write online, and spend many hours once doing so, you are too consumed with your own life.

If you dare to stand up and question authority, you can guarantee you will face a litany of untruths and innuendo and in Queensland, innuendo is everything. Innuendo is seen as LAW, innuendo is deemed as FACT. Forget the presumption of innocence, you are GUILTY before you get to court. Emotions are seen as weakness, dare not cry, be angry, you must smile at all times, even when staring in the face of twisted half truths. At any given time they can change the rules to suit themselves.

This department has a mantra where they state to keep families together. They are a law unto themselves. The power this government department has reaches far beyond a true democracy and who keeps an eye on them ?? No one. The Minister and Premier don't give a rats about the little people, as long as they hold office and are seen to be doing their jobs as elected by the people, they don't have to investigate proper complaints.

Amazing how a two month old child can accidentally swallow an ecstasy tablet!!

The need for child safety is paramount, the need to rid the department of Hitler type know alls is another.

The department director general, Norelle Deeth states..

"In making assessments such as these, the department consults with inter-agency professionals including police, pediatricians and other health experts.

"These professionals inform the department's assessment of the potential future risk of harm, taking into consideration the particular circumstances surrounding a matter.

"In cases such as these where families reside in other jurisdictions, the department will work closely with other relevant agencies to ensure the safety of the child and will provide support to the family."

As reported in the News bulletin on WIN tv tonight, it was also stated that the parents got the infant's colic medication mixed up with the ecstasy tablet. I have never heard of any medication in tablet form for a child under 6 months for colic. I know there are liquid medications available to treat such an ailment but who is more stupid here, the parents, the police or the department when a tablet can be mistaken for a colic remedy? Get real. The parents are now back in Victoria after intense media interest. Still, it is incredulous how the law is interpreted to whoever is in charge and at times, those who makes decisions do get it wrong and just because they hold the career position they do, does not mean they are right, for some,the power goes to their head and don't they just know it. It is a great pity no one can see that for all the good this Department of Child Safety does, they certainly do a lot of irreparable damage as well.

Legend of Devil's Pool

Nestled in the rainforest near Babinda, a town half an hour drive from where I live is a swimming hole known as Devil's Pool but locals know it as The Boulders. The waters are crystal clear, at times they are freezing cold but in summer are a welcome relief from the heat and humidity. This is where I received my first case of severe Queensland sunburn, spending all day in the swimming hole and driving around in a topless jeep. It is also a popular tourist venue. Queensland's two highest mountains; Mt Bartle Frere and Mt Bellenden Ker are both visible from this swimming hole. There is a Legend that surrounds The Boulders and there has been 16 deaths since 1959 of young males in accordance with that legend.



The legend arises from the story of a woman who married a respected tribal elder but ran away with a beautiful young man visiting for the event. When they were captured she threw herself into the waters to escape, calling for her lover to follow her. The legend goes that her spirit guards the boulders and that her calls for her lover can still be heard.



One local, Annie Wonga, gave this account:

There was a tribe that lived here. In this tribe was an elder, and his name was called Waroonoo and Waroonoo was promised to a girl called Oolana. When they got married, they had a big dance. As they went dancing a wandering tribe passed through and they welcomed them. In this tribe was a handsome young warrior and his name was Dyga. Oolana fell in love with him, and he fell in love with Oolana. While they were dancing, they decided to run further up the creek and camp there overnight. And at the morning, the wandering tribe and our tribe saw that they were missing. So they went in search of them and they said to Oolana, "You've got to come with us." And his tribe took him away. And when she saw that, she just came and she threw herself into the creek. She loved him that much. And there was a mighty upheaval, and rocks were strewn everywhere and where she lay is now called the Devil's Pool. And every now and again she might call a wandering man to her, thinking that it's Dyga.

There are warning signs posted by local authorities about the dangers faced, further down from the main swimming hole, where the rapids are. The area immediately above where the rapids are and where it narrows through the rocks is fenced off but still deaths from drowning occur.

A sign warns of the dangers of swimming there because the water is deep and fast flowing through channels and over underwater rocks but deaths still occur – some by swimming, others by falling in unexpectedly, many being wedged in a rock "chute".

Local Aboriginal people believe that when people disrespect the site, the site "disrespects" them in return. One account given was a man who was warned, but kicked the plaque, slipped into the hole and drowned where a body had just been recovered. Another tells of a drowned man whose father photographed the site in memoriam. When the photograph was developed the son's face appeared on the rocks:

When the father come down, the police took him out and showed him where he went down in the chute. And he took the photo of that, thinking it's just a chute. And he come back and they showed him where they had him tied up there. And when he went over to Innisfail the next morning to get them developed that's what they found. That photo, he's even got the cigarette in his mouth.

The Aboriginal people, among them Rainforest people, feel they are protected and anyone who goes there with them as friends are also protected.
