Hen Pecked Hubby

Today I sat with a group of people, chatting about anything and everything. I noticed one woman in particular liked to do most of the talking and that was fine, am happy to sit in the background and observe.
This woman Diane, was quite readily sharing how between her pension and her husbands there was a combined income of $9000 per month after taxes and bills. Wow...they must of worked hard and built a great retirement fund and kudos to them for that.
Various hobbies were brought up, fishing, gardening but the favorite of both was to head off to the casino and gamble. Well they worked hard and it's their money so why not if no one gets hurt.
What really made my ears prick up was when Diane started to whine about how her man had ordered home delivered chinese take out for her after a long day and she would stop doing things for him, as in her opinion he sat in his recliner too much. This all from a woman who admitted she would take out $300 from his wallet and leave him with $100...liked to use his money as well as her own to gamble away...but wait he wasn't allowed to do so, and when he did, Diane says it annoyed her.
My point to all this is, where do women like Diane get off thinking that it is acceptable to whine and bitch about your man, in front of anyone. I felt sorry for the husband. Why is it that women feel it is funny to ridicule their partner to others, complain incessantly...where is the respect?
Poor hubby may not be perfect but hell if I was a man and had a woman who thought it was her god given right to have it all, who took most of the money and laughed, then had a hissy fit because he ordered her chinese take out...complained if monies was spent doing same thing she did then I'd get rid of her real quick.
I know I am old fashioned in a lot of the ways I think but would rather old fashioned values than rudeness and sheer disrespect.

In the name of Tradition

Women of the western world should be grateful they do not live in Pakistan particularly anywhere near the Balochistan desert. To sanction the burial of 5 women alive is unbelievable and barbaric in the extreme. Three young women wanted to have husbands of their own choosing but were taken into the desert and shot and while two other older women went to their rescue, they too were gunned down and all pushed into a ditch and covered with mud, buried alive!!

The shocking reports of this horrible incident reaching the capital from different quarters revealed that the girls studying in classes 10 to 12 intended to marry men of their choice through a civil court by defying the centuries-old tribal traditions. When the fuming elders of Umrani tribe came to know about the intentions of these girls to appear before a local court, they picked them up from their homes along with two of their elderly women relatives. The crying girls were pushed into official cars and driven to a deserted area. There they were pushed out of the cars, made to stand in a queue and volleys of shots fired at them.
As the bleeding girls fell on the sand, the tribesmen dragged them into a nearby ditch and levelled it with earth and stones before the girls could breathe their last. As the two shocked elderly women tried to rescue the hapless girls, they too were gunned down and buried in the same manner.

One cannot have respect for these traditions and the backward animals who support and perpetrate them.

How WICKED..

Camper van company Wicked has had an order made to remove slogans that are deemed to be offensive to women.

Slogans such as; IF GOD WAS A WOMAN SPERM WOULD TASTE LIKE CHOCOLATE and WOMEN ARE LIKE BANKS, ONCE YOU WITHDRAW YOU LOSE INTEREST.

Wicked Campervans have a large percentage of their business to tourists/back packers and you quite often see them driving around the country. I will admit when I have seen one, if I can do so safely I will try to read what slogan is printed on it, have had quite a few giggles at some of the writings.

Members of the public have lodged complaints to have the slogans removed , one in particular said, "SAVE A WHALE, HARPOON A JAP" .
Racism is an ugly trait but are we pushing it a bit far with the other slogans. Wonder if the slogans were all about men would there be such an outcry and calls for their removal.
As a woman, I am not offended in the least by the slogans. Life does not revolve around women and their sensitivities.

Soaps or Sex

According to the UK's Sun paper, women are choosing to tune into tv rather than tune into their men. The survey says 17% of women aged between 16-24 hurry along sexual activities just to watch their favorite shows, the linked article also states:

Others plan annual holidays around the TV schedules or lie to friends about being busy so they can avoid missing their programme, a new study has revealed.

Well that in itself speaks enough if we are bringing in GIRLS at 16 into a sex survey. Interesting that a percentage of women would rather look at the idiot box than spend time with a partner, come on, television episodes usually only go for an hour a week, the other if you are lucky ...longer. Speaks volumes for communication skills if tv takes preference. Let them do a survey among the older than 24 age group, I think the outcome would be very different. Decisions, decisions....to turn on the television or turn on your man?

Vatican to excommunicate women priests

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - The Vatican issued its most explicit decree so far against the ordination of women priests on Thursday, punishing them and the bishops who try to ordain them with automatic excommunication.

The best way to promote something is via word of mouth, so why does it concern the church so much that women are being ordained as priests? Women as much as men can communicate successfully and what is more important, the gender of the informer or getting the message out there.
The Church says it cannot change the rules banning women from the priesthood because Christ chose only men as his apostles. Church law states that only a baptized male can be made a priest.

If following the laws of the church is so important and the above statement is true, then wouldn't it be more morally correct to listen to the written laws of the church than those of women who want to step into a male dominated area? The reason I ask is that I am not Catholic and have no understanding of the church laws and am really inquiring as to what readers, if any are Catholic, consider to be the rules/laws to adhere to.

Words Women Use

WORDS WOMEN USE:

1. Fine:
this is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and you need to shut up.

2. Five Minutes:
If she is getting dressed, this means a half an hour. Five Minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given five more minutes to watch the game before helping around the house.

3. Nothing:
This is the calm before the storm. This means something, and you should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with nothing usually end in fine.

4. Go Ahead:
This is a dare, not permission. Don’t Do It!

5. Loud Sigh:
This is not actually a word, but is a non-verbal statement often misunderstood by men. A loud sigh means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you about nothing. (Refer back to #3 for the meaning of nothing.)

6. That’s Okay:
This is one of the most dangerous statements a women can make to a man. That’s okay means she wants to think long and hard before deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake.

7. Thanks:
A woman is thanking you, do not question, or Faint. Just say you’re welcome.

8. Whatever:
Is a women’s way of saying F**K YOU!

9. Don’t worry about it, I’ve got it:
Another dangerous statement, meaning this is something that a woman has told a man to do several times, but is now doing it herself. This will later result in a man asking “what’s wrong”, for the woman’s response refer to # 3.

10. No:
This is the most complicated word a woman can use with a man. This is because she will say no, and mean no, or she will say no but mean yes. You will never get this right no matter what, so it is best not to try. Just remember, if she has salad and you have fries or pizza and you offer her some and and she says no, allow her to eat off of your plate without questioning her, or better yet, just give her half. This may also mean she is upset when she says she is not, and if you dare to ask “why” she will either respond with “nothing” — refer to # 3, or I’m “fine” — refer to # 1.
