Johnny Vegas....get off stage !!

British comedian, Johnny Vegas was seen to intimidate a young girl he fancied on stage during one of his shows in London. After the girl was brought to the stage, he proceeded to try and pull up her skirt and told her not to move or he would kick her. This may of all been in so called jest, but the menacing implications of his suggestions are not in the slightest funny. Apparently half the audience found it amusing as he was seen to stroke her breasts, touch her genital area and then straddle her while she looked increasingly uncomfortable and embarrassed by the whole incident. I am not a prude in any way but I find it infuriating that society accepts the likes of Johnny Vegas who has resorted to molesting girls on stage under the guise of entertainment just to get his jollys. At adult comedy one would expect lewd jokes but would you pay to see a disgusting leech act like Vegas did? Anyone who thinks what he did to be comic, needs to have their head read.

Don't let my profile pic detract from what I'm about to write, lol, just a bit of self-mockery which I've never had a problem with. Johnny Vegas might be better employed using such forms of humour as well, rather than picking on a member of the public, innocently sat there, who'd paid to see his show, and then gets publicly humiliated simply for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
If audience members who have been heckling him are picked on then fair enough, but it seems to be part of the format to pick on members of the audience at a whim, and I don't find that particularly funny.

Rodney Rude of Australia is well known for picking on people in his audience and he gives heaps to hecklers. He can be quite crass in his jokes, but its the aspect of this guy Vegas, joking about kicking her if she moved and then touching her, isn't that how rapists carry on?

I know precious little about rapists and how they behave, but Johnny Vegas does come across as a filthy old man.

It is wrong of me to generalise and pass judgement on looks, but he does look like a sleaze. Ugh, I hate sleazy men!

I always thought Johnny Vegas was about as funny as a burning orphanage. When I read about this a little while back I felt he was just a sleazy little scumbag (if someone who looks like Jabba the Hut's overweight brother can be called little of course!)

No-one should be brought onto stage and embarrassed to the point of discomfort.

To abuse the power he had for sexual laughs and poss pleasure - obviously not the girl's - is utterly obscene.

I have never understood this sort of humor it does nothing for me!!!

That is dreadful behaviour from an entertainer. It is abusive to the young woman and furthers the notion that sexual assault is about sex and hedonistic pleasure. Thank god there are still many of us that agree that sexual assault is an act of power perpetrated by inadequates.

I agree Megan, equally disgusting are those in that audience that found it amusing.
