In Melbourne today Germaine Greer, feminist and woman's rights campaigner, world renowned whiner, has made the statement on channel 9's A current Affair, that Hilary Clinton is bossy, manipulative, cold and has no idea.What does Germaine know about American politics other than what she has been fed via the media and who lives in the U.K. All this from the same woman who had the following to say about Steve Irwin when his life ended doing what he loved best.
"The animal world has finally taken its revenge on Irwin, but probably not before a whole generation of kids in shorts seven sizes too small has learned to shout in the ears of animals with hearing 10 times more acute than theirs, determined to become millionaire animal-loving zoo-owners in their turn."
Women like Germaine Greer haven't done me as a woman any favours and I dare say i am not the only woman in the world to think same. In an ideal world we would learn to accept that not everyone shares our ideals and that is their given right , so why place scorn and contempt upon those just because they do not agree with us.
Steve Irwin was flamboyant and enthusiastic in his approach to educate the world on wildlife conservation and preservation. Love or loathe him, he heightened awareness of the plight of animals globally. Steve and his wife Terri bought vast amounts of land for conservation purposes and was popular world wide. How ironic that a nude portrait of 'Lady Muck' was removed from the walls of the National Gallery in Canberra and replaced with one of The Crocodile Hunter. Germaine comes across as a bitter twisted old woman who can't stand success unless its hers.
