MEMORIAL DAY----AMERICA

Memorial day is celebrated as a National Holiday the last Monday of May. It is sometimes called Decoration Day or Poppy Day. It is set aside to honor those Americans who gave their lives for their country. Similar to our Anzac Day and Memorial Day in November. Whether you agree with various troops stationed throughout the world or not, spare a thought for what they are going through and the ultimate sacrifice that thousands have made.

I just had problems with my comment ending up an error so I'll try it again.

Good thought Nunyaa. I wonder how many Americans just think this is another statutory holiday and don't think about the reason.

You are blogging up a storm today my dear.

I would like to think that most people around the world would think about it JMB, and hope that they remember all the wars not just the curent situations.
