Charlton Heston
US actor Charlton Heston, has died at the age of 84. From the Best Actor Oscar in 1959 in Ben Hur to the portrayals of Michelangelo and Moses, Heston was certainly one of the 'old school' of actors who gave perfection to his chosen craft of acting and provided countless hours of enjoyment. Charlton Heston maintained his style and dignity until his passing Saturday night and will be missed by many fans around the world.

Great actor marred by his blind devotion to gun nuts and all they stood for.
And will always be remebered by me for two lines...
'Get your hand off me, you dirty great ape'
and
'Soylent Green IS PEOPLE!'
Ah, when men were men...!
I will always remember him in Twilight's Last Gleaming.
So true Welshcakes, what movie is that line from Crushed? Never heard of it James? Hmm Colin, am not a fan of guns myself.

Secret of Soylent Green
i also heard it on the news. my parents like him so much. i was able to watch the Ten Commandments and the Planet of the Apes. I like his role on the Planet of the Apes that's why this movie is one of the best classic movie that i've watched.
may he rest in peace.
