Nissan Privo...Privo 2... Concept Cars

Can you just imagine yourself zipping down to the shops in this little beauty? Say goodbye to reverse parking, don't worry about waiting for right place to do a u-turn, this one can turn on a dime. There is a motor on each of the axels and they can be controlled independently. The car is run by lithium-ion batteries and has ZERO emissions. The entire cabin of the car swivels which makes parking in tight spots a breeze. While the word Pivo means beer in Russian and several other Slavic languages, the car design has nothing to do with beer cans or keg barrels. The car is 2,700mm in overall length and can seat 3 people, the driver in front with two passengers side by side in the back. Top speed is 40mph with a 40 mile range from a single charge of the batteries. The Pivo 2 , in city car has a range of more than 60 miles and a top speed of over 70mph.

Excellent car. A British team designed a one metre wide car too, based on the Smart.

Very handy for someone like me who drives around 2000 miles a year at the most.
