Skippy

Contrary to popular beliefs, kangaroos, wallabies and native wildlife of Australia do not run around the streets or in backyards . The only place I have seen a koala is in the zoo, never seen one in the wild. Today at work, the boss and I had to do pick up and delivery of a vehicle, we both was just as fascinated by seeing the above wallabies as any tourist would of been. These was taken at Flying Fish Point where the rainforest meets the Pacific Ocean.

I'll point the Russkies to this next time. They're forever asking if they run down the streets.

I want one for a pet. I saw some earlier in the week just on the outskirts of the suburban area I live in. I love that about being further out of town.

It reminds me of when I first saw a wild red squirrel :-)

Do the wallabies box each other like the 'roos?

They are not as full on as the kangaroos. I used to have a wallaby as a pet and I never seen her act like that, I will look it up and post the results in here.

I think only the male kangaroos box, though... some pre-mating display ritual ..
